Vortex Companies Announces Key Promotions to Fuel Continued Growth

The Vortex Companies announces the promotions of Chuck Parsons to senior vice president of strategy and operations, and Ryan Helmuth to regional vice president of its West Coast affiliate, Sancon Technologies. They also announced the promotion of Pete Dannenberg to chief revenue officer (CRO).

These promotions are designed to strengthen operations throughout the Vortex platform of businesses and fuel continued growth at the company.

Changes in the West

Parsons, who served as president at Sancon prior to being acquired by Vortex earlier this year, brings decades of industry experience. He also has a track record of excellence which he brings to his new corporate role.

A 30-year veteran of Sancon Technologies, Parsons has been instrumental in establishing the company as a trusted leader in trenchless infrastructure rehabilitation. In his new role, Parsons will lead enterprise-level strategy. He will drive operational alignment, and strengthen cross-business collaboration across the Vortex platform. Additionally, he will be the strategic lead over CIPP Corp. Vortex’s CIPP lining installation network. Parsons will report directly to Ryan Graham, COO of the Vortex Companies.

Succeeding Parsons, Ryan Helmuth has been promoted to regional vice president of Sancon Technologies. With 15 years of service at Sancon, Helmuth brings deep field knowledge, strong market insight, and respected leadership. In his new role, he will oversee all day-to-day operations. He will also report to B.J. Kerstiens, senior vice president of Vortex Services. Helmuth will focus on operational excellence and supporting the continued expansion of Sancon. Sancon is a vital component of the Vortex Services platform.

Dannenberg Continues to Rise

In this new role, Dannenberg will lead strategic growth initiatives across all Vortex business units. He will bring innovative solutions and focused leadership to further advance the company’s mission.

A seasoned trenchless industry professional, Dannenberg brings more than 20 years of experience. He has a strong track record of driving business growth and customer success globally. Since joining Vortex in 2020 as national sales manager for the Products Division, he has quickly risen through the ranks. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of technologies.

His expertise spans advanced trenchless technologies, including Vortex’s Schwalm robotics. It also includes UV-CIPP curing systems, and CIPP curing monitoring tools.
