Vac2Go Adds New Location, New Truck Lines in 2020
Louisville-based vacuum truck rental company, Vac2Go, is broadening its service, reach, and capabilities with a new location in Crown Point, Indiana. This will be the seventh location established since its founding in 2011, coming alongside the introduction of two new truck brands: Kaiser and Schellvac.
The recent expansion of Vac2Go’s footprint comes just as the national economy endures a downturn. However, they continue to assist their customers with flexibility and integrity.
“We are changing the way we provide value in this unpredictable time,” says Todd Tallon, president and CEO of Vac2Go. “Our team acknowledges that customers are operating differently, so we are striving to provide meaningful partnerships by increasing over the road services, onsite training, and preventative maintenance services.”
Tallon adds that “the recent announcement of our Crown Point, Indiana location helps us reach some of our strategic goals, which include new market penetration, product expansion, diversification, and the opportunity for acquisitions down the road.”

This seventh location is part of Vac2Go’s ongoing vision to grow consistently and reach their customers wherever they are. As is the case with Crown Point, the company is excited to have experienced team members already in place to strategically meet the vacuum truck needs in the northern region, particularly near Michigan, Iowa, Indiana, and the Chicago, Illinois area.
“We were servicing many customers in those areas out of our Kentucky location. Because it was logistically challenging, we made a promise to our customers to get closer in order to meet their needs for last-minute repairs, rentals, and accessories,” says Tallon. “Once we had the right people [to staff the location], we were ready to deploy trucks and get the shop in operating condition.”
Leading the core team for this new location is Jerry Federico, a Crown Point native and experienced operations manager. Federico’s familiarity with the area and equipment uniquely position him to connect with customer needs while helping other businesses in the community. Chris Dimitroff, development manager, has also joined the Vac2Go team and will be assisting clients across the Northern Region. “Chris has in-depth knowledge of our industry, trucks, and accessories, making him a great asset,” states Tallon.
The Crown Point, Indiana location will debut with an open house on September 18, from 11 a.m. to noon. Dimitroff, Federico, and the Vac2Go team will be welcoming community members and interested parties to connect and learn more over a provided lunch. Visitors are encouraged to wear masks while enjoying this event.

In addition to Vac2Go’s geographic growth, they recently broadened their featured truck brands to include Kaiser and Schellvac. This brand partnership was carefully chosen based on the manufacturers’ unique features and reliability. The company’s existing partnerships already include GapVax, PresVac, Guzzler, Keith Huber, Vactor, Super Products and Ledwell.
“The biggest way it compliments our existing partnerships is the focus on customer service. We are committed to representing brands that stand behind their products, allowing us to mirror that business practice in a rental capacity,” says Tallon.
The diversity Kaiser and Schellvac both provide to Vac2Go’s rental fleet increases their ability to cater to consumers’ preferences and give them their ideal operating experience with their jobs. The level of customization the company can provide by adding these two brands to their lineup “keeps [their] promise to provide the best equipment, best trucks, and best service,” adds Tallon.
