RSC Opens 12 New Locations, Plans to Open 20 More
As part of its growth strategy, RSC Equipment Rental, a leading provider ofrental equipment and services throughout North America, is opening 12 stores andplanning to open an addition 20 new rental stores in 2006 and early 2007.
The 12 stores being opened now are in Gulf Shores, Ala., Pine Bluff, Ark.,Collinsville, Ill., Broussard, La., Kansas City and Osage Beach, Mo., Columbus,Ohio, Roseburg, Ore., and Dallas, Lufkin, McKinney and Weatherford,Texas.
The 20 additional stores will open across the United States and Canada.Approximately half of the planned store openings will be newly added locations,while the others will be relocations of existing stores. Currently, RSC has atotal of 470 stores.
RSC Equipment Rental has achieved 11 consecutive quarters of record-breakingfinancial and operating performance and eight quarters of revenue growth,according to president and CEO Tom Zorn.
“The new store initiative positions RSC for continued organic growth andprovides our customers with an even higher level of service,” Zorn says.
