Publisher’s Message – Navigating Policy Shifts and Protecting Progress
I had the chance to sit in on the roundtable panel discussion – this issue’s cover story – moderated by our Trenchless Technology Editor Sharon Bueno, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. With economic uncertainty, global trade shifts, and infrastructure funding all in flux, this panel featuring thought leaders from AEM, DCA, NUCA, NASSCO and NASTT hit on the challenges our industry is navigating.
What really stuck with me from this conversation was the urgency everyone brought to the table. There’s a real need for clarity, especially around things like Buy American rules, and a strong push to keep trenchless methods top of mind in critical sectors like broadband, water, and clean energy.
This roundtable is worth your time. It’s a candid look at the challenges our industry is facing, and the kind of conversation that reinforces just how important our collective voice and continued advocacy really are.
