On the Road with Bernie and Phyllis Krzys

Our publisher Bernie Krzys is on a bucket list adventure: traveling by RV with his wife Phyllis across the great United States to visit Alaska (by way of Canada). They packed up and started their excursion at the beginning of May. As you read this, they are just now beginning their journey back to Ohio.

Now, for all of you who personally know Bernie it comes as no surprise that he is mixing in a bit of work with his pleasure trip. As you might have guessed, he is making some stops along the way to share some of Benjamin Media’s publications, such as our latest pub, Jobsite Juniors.
He is keeping a (almost) daily log of his adventures (where ever he has WiFi), sharing it with family, friends, as well as the Trenchless Technology editors. Here’s an early one telling us of his first trenchless stop:
Day 2: Crossed the Mississippi River and stopped in Davenport, Iowa, at Camping World dealer…. Left 25 Jobsite Juniors, our BMI kids pub, for their customer waiting area. Onto Pella, Iowa, to stop at BMI customers Vermeer and Ring-O-Matic. Got there late and no one around because all at 100k+ attendance tulip festival. But left 50 Jobsite Juniors for Vermeer reception area.

Day 11: Yesterday, we went thru the Gallatin National Forest, which followed the Gallatin River into Bozeman, Montana. The mts are so many and so beautiful it’s hard to imagine how Alaska will top what we’ve seen already.
Day 12: Before we left Great Falls, we dropped off copies of BMI’s kids pub Jobsite Juniors at a Case and Cat dealer and they were really pleased. Also left copies at KOA reception.
