New MTS Dino 4 Sold to JFM Plant Hire

U Mole, a division of Vp plc, recently announced the sale of an MTS DINO4 Suction Excavation unit to JFM Plant Hire for use by its associated companies Vac-Ex Ltd and John Mee Civil Engineering Ltd.

The Unit is the second DINO4 in its fleet and will be mounted to an 8 x 4 32-tonne IVECO chassis. It will be the fourth DINO delivered into the company and is the first of an indicated batch of five units that they hope to add into its operated fleet by the end of 2015.

MTS operate a policy of continual product improvement and development, and this latest rig benefits from many of the company’s most recent design innovations. These include the new Siemens PLC control system for all major operational functions of the equipment and the remote monitoring and diagnostics of the MTS component via mobile network.

Other developments featured in the equipment are the quick access hose inlet door to aid operators in the safe removal of hose blockages, the in-tank water separation system to ease removal of fluids from the spoil tank prior to tipping and, most recently the introduction of the MTS ‘Fast Exchange’ filter system to simplify and speed up routine filter inspection and cleaning operations. This cartridge style filter system is easily removed by forklift eliminating the requirement to remove each filter individually at height.
