Jack Doheny Supplies Ohio Hosts Annual Public Works Equipment Show
More than 850 municipal workers and contractors attended the 2006 Jack DohenySupplies Public Works Equipment Show Oct. 12 at its Twinsburg, Ohio, location.
This is the 10th year that the company has organized the event. The breakdownof attendees was approximately 80 percent municipal workers and 20 percentcontractors.
The show, which ran from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., featured nearly 50 manufacturingrepresentatives, as well as a slew of technical seminars. Equipment on displayincluded sewer cleaning, sewer jets, hydro-excavation technology, sewerinspection equipment, gas detection, lateral line inspection and utility andpipeline locators.
A few of the manufacturing companies that participated in the all-day showincluded Vactor Mfg., Pearpoint, Sewer Equipment Co. of America, Aries andRadiodetection.
The technical seminars included topics pipe cleaning, hydro-excavation,camera system maintenance and best management practices. There were also outdoorequipment demonstrations. Seminar participants earned Ohio EPA contact hours.
