Trenchless Technology Issue No. 1: Celebrating 25 Years of Trenchless Technology Magazine

We’re ready to go here at Trenchless Technology magazine as we embark on a year-long celebration for our 25th anniversary. That’s right, our first issue officially mailed as a July/August 1992 edition.

 

Since that issue hit the mail, we always have, and continue to be, your No. 1 source for trenchless news and information featuring unique perspectives, observations and knowledge from the trenchless industry’s leading experts through case studies, topical issues and opinion pieces.

In honor of our anniversary, we have some fun things planned both in print and online, as well as the various trade shows and conferences our staff will attend throughout the year.

On the print front, we’ve redesigned the magazine to give it a more modern look – while keeping the great content you love to read and we’ve built our reputation on. We’re also planning a special commemorative issue for July, and we’re sure it’s one you’ll want to keep on your coffee table for years to come.

Online, we’re planning some fun quizzes and monthly Top Lists that shine a light on the many fun aspects of our industry. We’ve also created a special section on our website at trenchlesstechnology.com/anniversary where all of the stories related to our anniversary can be found.

To kick off the celebration of our 25th anniversary we’re taking a trip down memory lane. We found Trenchless Technology Vol. 1, Issue 1 and transferred it to PDF for your reading enjoyment.

Take a look below, and like us, you’ll marvel at how far we and the entire trenchless industry has come.  Included in the issue is a family tree of HDD contracting companies from 1970-1992, some vintage ads and a CIPP story from our own backyard in Lakewood, Ohio.
