Plastics Pipe Institute Names New Executive Director
The Plastics Pipe Institute (PPI), the U.S.’ major trade associationrepresenting all segments of the polyethylene piping industry, recentlyannounced that Tony Radoszewski has been appointed its executive director.
In his new role, Radoszewski will lead the Plastics Pipe Institute’s effortsto broaden market opportunities that make effective use of plastic pipe fornumerous applications including water and gas distribution, sewer andwastewater, oil and gas production, industrial and mining uses, power andcommunications among others.
Radoszewski, a veteran of the plastics industry, brings more than 25 yearsexperience to PPI. He spent 15 years at Phillips 66 Co./Phillips Driscopipe (nowpart of the Performance Pipe Division of Chevron Phillips) in various leadershippositions in sales, marketing and business development.
Following his career with Phillips Driscopipe, Radoszewski became thedirector of marketing and business development for Advanced Drainage Systems(ADS) where he was responsible for the development of all aspects of thecompany’s global marketing plan. During his tenure with ADS, Radoszewski heldvarious leadership positions within the Plastics Pipe Institute.
In 2002, Radoszewski created his own marketing and advertising consultingfirm focusing on industrial and business-to-business clients.
“Tony has extensive knowledge of the plastic pipe industry, as well as strongleadership skills that will help take our organization to the next level,” saidKurt Waldhauer, chairman of the board of PPI. “The country’s failinginfrastructure is in desperate need of repair and HDPE pipe has proven to be along-term, safe and cost-effective solution. We are confident that Tony has theexpertise to carry that message forward.”
Radoszewski earned a bachelor’s of science degree in chemistry in 1980 fromSt. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas.
