The Vortex Companies has promoted Ram Vela to chief strategy officer (CSO). In this newly elevated role, Vela will be responsible for shaping and institutionalizing the company’s long-term strategic vision, and aligning growth initiatives across domestic and international markets. His promotion comes as the company continues to expand its global footprint through both organic and acquisitive efforts.

Vela previously served as senior vice president of corporate development and analytics, where he focused exclusively on executing the company’s acquisition strategy. He has been instrumental in expanding Vortex’s service and product portfolio, integrating these businesses, and fostering a culture of innovation across all business units.
