UGSI, Petrocelli Reach Agreement on FTTP Project
Underground Solutions Inc. has announcedthat its wholly owned subsidiary, Underground Solutions Management Group Inc.,has entered into a five-year contract with Petrocelli LLC to provideconstruction management services and fiber cable pathway installation in theNortheast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Petrocelli LLC has embarked on a majorinitiative of providing Fiber-to-the-Premises (FTTP), a full service networkcapable of providing voice, data and video services to individual homes andneighborhoods across the United States.
Petrocelli LLC is the primecontractor and Underground Solutions will act as subcontractor to provideproject/construction management services to oversee the deployment of fibercable utilizing minimally intrusive trenchless technologies.
UndergroundSolutions CEO Mark A. Smith stated, This contract is a great opportunity forUGSI to further expand its project management and infrastructure servicebusiness. Revenue from this indefinite quantity delivery FTTP contract couldexceed $150 million over a five-year period.
