This new offering is manufactured by combining an upset forging process together with a true inertia welding process, which has proven to be the strongest tool joint connection on the market for this class of drill rig. These new rods are available in both thread designs, fine and coarse. This pipe also meets the highest grade available, API “S”, which has a minimum yield stress of 135,000 psi.\r\n
