NASTT Announces Executive Leadership Changes
The North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT) announces the departure of Matthew Izzard as executive director.
NASTT made the announcement, which was effective immediately, on Nov. 21. Izzard spent six years at the helm of the organization
During his tenure, Izzard provided steady and thoughtful leadership, guiding the society through several pivotal moments. His tenure includes navigating the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“His commitment, professionalism, and support of NASTT’s mission have strengthened the organization and positioned it for continued success. NASTT extends its sincere appreciation to Matthew for his many contributions and offers its warmest wishes as he begins the next chapter of his professional journey,” says the press release.
Serving as interim executive director during the transition is Jessie Clevenger, NASTT’s conference and sales director. A search committee will begin the process of selecting the next executive director to lead the organization into the future.
NASTT remains firmly committed to supporting the trenchless technology community through education, research and collaboration. It looks forward to a smooth and successful transition.
The organization moves into this next chapter from a position of strength. It is supported by a dedicated board, talented staff, and a vibrant membership.
