LMK Files Patent Infringement Suit
On July 26, LMK Enterprises announced that it fileda patent infringement complaint against NU Flow Technologies and Video PipeServices in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. The complaintalleges that both NU Flow Technologies and Video Pipe Services have been and areinfringing LMK’s patent rights by making, selling and installing products thatutilize LMK’s patented technology. The patent infringement case relates torehabilitation of sewer laterals.
LMK Enterprises has made significant investments inresearch and development, delivering a cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) that renewsthe lateral pipe and a section of the main pipe, providing a structurally sealedconnection. LMK Enterprises owns and has an extensive patent library of piperenewal innovations worldwide. LMK Enterprises currently holds 38 issued patentsworldwide. LMK Enterprises is being represented in the case by McKee, Voorhees& Sease, P.L.C., a nationally recognized intellectual property litigationfirm.
