The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Utility Engineering & Surveying Institute (UESI) is bringing its 2026 Pipelines Conference to Detroit, Michigan Aug. 1-5. The 2026 conference will dive into the newest insights, innovations and trenches that are shaping the pipeline engineering field.

UESI aims to be the worldwide leader in generating products and services that promote and reward excellence in the engineering, planning, design, construction, operations and asset management. Visit the WSU Boneyard

The technical tour for the Pipelines 2026 is the Wayne State University Pipeline Laboratory. The lab is a collaboration between Wayne State and the Great Lakes Water Authority.

The lab allows real world research and technology development. During this tour, you will see full-scale demonstrations of rehabilitation technologies, condition assessment technologies, and a dissected prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP) section.
