The technical tour for the Pipelines 2026 is the Wayne State University Pipeline Laboratory. The lab is a collaboration between Wayne State and the Great Lakes Water Authority.

The lab allows real world research and technology development. During this tour, you will see full-scale demonstrations of rehabilitation technologies, condition assessment technologies, and a dissected prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP) section.
